A character assaults Tris by squeezing her chest after they kidnapped her.ĭrugs and Alcohol ⭐️/ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️: Tobias gets drunk and tell Tris she looks great, which is kind of creepy as Tobias is Tris’s Instructor. It’s implied that r*pe would have happened if she didn’t get out of the land scape. In the fear landscape in the book, (the fear landscape is a simulation where people have to face their fears), it had a scene where Tobias came up to Tris and started to undress her. Later in the book, Tris worried he has an expectation sex. They kissed once while the boy had his shirt off. Characters kiss quite frequently, and the main character, Tris, goes into detail every time Tobias touched her in any way. SEXUAL CONTENT ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️/ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️: This comes up a lot in the book. Infrequent use of words such as “hell” and “damn”. Kids are forced to fight in the arena to get added into their faction. They play a game similar to paintball with guns that shoot a bullet that will immense the pain as if the person was really shoot. A character commits suicide after feeling guilty over something he did.
Not very descriptive on gore, but it has a lot of killing/hurting. I do recommend this to anyone 14 and over. However, sometimes it felt as if the author couldn’t decide whether they wanted a romance novel or an action novel. It was very descriptive and well thought out. LOVED THIS BOOK! It was incredibly amazing.
